        Hello,

I’ve been syringe feeding Cocoa critical care for his GI stasis caused by EC. It’s been getting better and yesterday he actually ate it by himself. Someone suggested I mix in pumpkin flavor baby food so I did that. I’m just worried that I might be putting too much since it’s sweet and I don’t want to upset his stomach. I usually add a dime size amount to a tablespoon of critical care. What would you guys suggest?

That sounds fine to me, as long as it’s not sweetened pumpkin. I’ve used just straight canned pumpkin before in CC as well.

I have used the organic baby foods because they generally have less sugar. You can try other flavors like apple, berry or banana.
