Today I tried out some diy bunny treats and was wondering if anyone knew how safe they are? All the ingredients are safe, but I just wanted to check in. I’m making them at home because the oxbow ones I usually buy actually have added sugar. The recipe is 1/4 cup pellets 1/4 cup oats, some carrot and some banana. I put it all in the food processor then made them into little sales. The bunnies did love them, and I’m assuming they’re safe.

I’m not very savvy when it comes to foods rabbits should eat, but I have to say that is a great idea, rabbit cookies, hopefully, someone will respond and say it is safe, for I am really looking forward to making some rabbit cookies. Good idea @Louiethebunny

I just realized my typos oops, I meant to say shapes, not sales. @hiphopbunny I hope they’re safe as well, but I know oats can sometimes be a problem? Making them at home sounds super fun, and cheaper than buying a new Oxbow bag every one or two weeks.
