So Panini has been doing wonderfully! A few minutes ago, I reached out my hand for her to sniff (because usually that’s how she physically interacts with us. It’s only day two and I’m so proud of how brave she is!) But then a few minutes later I thought, well, maybe she’ll let me touch her! I reached out to pet her and she flinched and I feel really bad about scaring her. I just wanna know if I maybe hurt her trust, and when is the right time to start trying to pet? She’s so young that I don’t think she could handle a treat yet.

I don’t think you hurt her trust. She was just saying, ‘not yet’. I’m pretty sure everyone here has tried to pet their bun too soon, cause they are too stinkin’ cute! 😉 She’ll warm up to you soon, she sounds very out-going, queen of the house on day 2, that is impressive. I’m sure you’ll get to pet her in a few days based on what I’m hearing when you do, you’ll have to give her one for me as well, her face is much too cute for my liking. 😉

Thanks so much!! I just really want her to trust me, and I’m totally okay with all her cues. She’s so adorable! She really is so curious and outgoing. Has to investigate when we open the bedroom door… What a brave bun!
