Clide can have exercise pretty much the day after his surgery if he’s up to it. It’s wise to try and prevent excessive jumping and climbing for a week or so, but generally speaking, a young male is as good as new very soon after a neuter. Check his surgery site daily, there will be some swelling of the testicular sacks post neuter, but that is normal unless it gets very big. Sometimes a blood vessel leaks into the empty sack and you can get a very big swelling, like a ping-pong ball. If that happens, obviously contact the vet.
Bonnie is another matter. It takes 2 weeks for the internal surgery wound to heal. Until then, she should not run around. She can of course be allowed to do some exploring in a restricted area while you monitor her, but no jumping or binkying etc.
If you can get twigs, dried or fresh, from bunny safe trees (willow, apple, hazel etc), or if she likes chew toys, that may help with the boredom she is bound to experience when she feels well but there’s still more healing to do before she can be given more freedom.
