i am thnking about getting a young rabbit ( 9 weeks old). I went to my local pet shop today to see if they had alfalfa pellets and hay. They did have the pellets but they only had timothy hay and meadow hay. Can young rabbits eat timothy or meadow ? If not i can order alfalfa hay online.

I got my boys at 8 weeks and I never fed them alfalfa hay. I only ever fed Timothy and orchard. It made it less of a hassle when when they transition off it at 6 months anyways.

Young rabbits only really need one source of alfalfa, so if you feed alfalfa pellets and timothy hay, you should be good.
