I’m sorry I haven’t been online at all, I just checked today and realized the website was back up and running today. I felt I should let you all know, Reese passed away from GI stasis 2 days ago. The night before she was rushed to the vet because I noticed she wasn’t excited for her food anymore and she was all hunched up in the corner, and when I felt around her stomach it felt weird and hard and I knew it was GI stasis. It was 9 at night so we rushed her to the nearest after hours vet that would treat rabbits and she had to be dropped off and stay overnight because of covid. We got a call at 5 am saying that her body temperature was very low and she would have to be hospitalized. At 7:30 we got another call saying she passed away. She had just turned 6 on July 3rd, and I was really looking forward to spending many more years with her, I’m really sad she had to leave so soon. I’m glad Leo and Vinny have each other to lean on, they must miss their sister as much as I miss her. RIP Reese, I love you.

Oh no, I’m so so sorry. 🙁 Poor sweet Reese, what a cutie she was! <3

It’s so hard… we never really know how long we will have with them. 🙁  I hope Leo and Vinny are OK and can comfort you too.

I am so very sorry for your loss! 😥 She was very clearly loved, and you took very good care of her, but it was unfortunately her time. You gave her an amazing life, one to be proud of. It is okay to have a few good cries and to grief, but not forever. Smile at the memories you had with her, remember the good times, not with sorrow, but with joy, and happiness. Know that she wants to see you smile, not griefing over her.

Reese was a very lucky bunny to have you in her life, you sound like a truly kind, and good rabbit mama. I am very glad you have Leo and Vinny to help you through this, when one of my sweet buns died, I had another furry friend who helped me stop griefing, and be happy.

            Smile 🙂 laugh 🙂 Be happy 🙂

I’m so sorry, how heartbreaking. 😥  Reese was a beautiful girl, and one of my favorite BB bunnies. Sending you lots of hugs.

Oh, I’m saddened to read this. I’m sorry you lost your girl. Binky Free, Sweet little Reese!

I’m also glad the boys have each other, but I’m glad you have them too. I find it’s a comfort to have other fur babies to love on when   you have suffered a loss. I hope they provide that for you.
