My mother came over to visit today, and my Rabbit Marshmallow was giving my mom a cute look (Described by my mom), so when I went to check on her and the Bunny, I saw something that looked like a nut. She said she gave him a half of one walnut. I’m sorry if my grammar is bad but I am urgent because I know that walnuts are potentially harmful to rabbits. I just want to know if my rabbit will be okay and won’t get harmed or die. Please answer ASAP.

Also, my rabbit is 1 year old and a couple months. Has reddish-brown fur with black eyes.

I expect he will be just fine. While walnuts and other nuts are not good to regularly feed rabbits due to the fat content, they’re not toxic. So half a walnut will not cause harm.

Perhaps you can show your Mom some other foods she can give when your rabbit begs. Some fresh herbs or other healthy treats you might have. 😉
