Ah yes, one of the many perks of having a bunny. 🤣 He’ll be fine. This happens a lot to all bunny parents, especially new ones as it’s a constant learning process of what you have to hide/cover, what you can and can’t leave out and laying around, etc., so don’t feel bad! It still happens to me every now and then, and instead of getting irritated with the bun I just get irritated with myself for making the same mistake lol. So… many… laptop chargers…

Been there! he’s gotten a charger for my phone and my work laptop… I now just always have an extra on hand. He’s do damn quick and seems to just be unable to resist! Both are in my bedroom which he is not really supposed to be in, but he loves playing on the bed (& chewing all those yummy cables) so he makes a mad dash in sometimes when I am trying to go in and out. I do let him explore occasionally and will move the cables out of his reach then, but he actually got the computer charger on one of those outings as he climbed up my backpack which gave him just the boost he needed (it was supposed to be blocking access), also the whole thing took under 2 seconds.  You are so not an irresponsible bun parent! They manage to get into so much stuff so quickly, and best we can do is learn and adjust. Obviously we should aim to keep their environment safe and bunny proofed, but sometimes they get in where they shouldn’t. Oh and no bad results, I have heard of some of the larger cables giving buns burns in their mouth, but the skinny charger cables I haven’t heard of them suffering from. Not that you want them doing it if for no reason than your pocket book.

Stuff happens. I’m sure he’ll be fine. Can’t say the same for your mouse though. RIP

Low voltage cords like mouse cords and phone cords are highly unlikely to hurt the bun if chewed. The only victims are the poor cords. Some you can fix yourself, you need a sharp knife and electric tape. It’s a bit annoying that you can’t readily buy protective cord covers for thin cords. I have made one for myself with plastic beads that you cut open on one side and insert the cord into. It takes some patience though.
