        Hi

I have a pair of buns. Both are females (mochi and Macy)

Mochi is spayed and Macy is not.
Both are bonded but apparently Mochi like to chase on Macy and start her fur pulling on Macy.

Macy is being very submissive and doesn’t attack back. But Mochi just doesn’t give in and keeps chasing and being aggressive on Macy.  They can be best friends for a month, then their bond will just break out of a sudden.
This has been happening very frequently.

Both of them have no health problems. Mochi is doesn’t like her sister

You hit the problem in your first sentence, they should both be spayed in order for the bond to be stable. The hormonal fluctuations can make them territorial and cause fighting. For now you should separate (but keep them side by side) and get Macy spayed. It is also important to spay to prevent reproductive cancers, so it will be good for Macy in that way as well.

I agree with Dana. Hormones make things unpredictable and will continue to do so. While I know there are cases you can read about of non-fixed pairs working, there needs to be adaptation based on the rabbits in each pair. In this pair, it looks like the unfixed status of one may be creating instability,  so spaying her may be the best solution. As Dana mentioned, it is wise for health reasons as well.

(Also your reply duplicated, Dana and I deleted the duplicate.)
