  Hello, here is Cinnamon on his blanket. I was wondering if someone could tell me what coat type he has, I don’t know much about coats only that patterns and colours have different names. Could someone identify his coat type? He’s 3/4 Netherlands Dwarf and 1/4 something unknown. Both his parents had light brown coats with no patterns, I hope that helps. Thank you 🙂

  His coat colour/pattern is called Japanese harlequin. There is also a harlequin breed of rabbit but the colouration can occur in other breeds also.

  His belly is the same pattern as the rest of him but a bit lighter, he does have a few small white bits here and there like the tips of his paws and under his eye- you can see the other side of his face in my profile pic 🙂
  
  I named him cinnamon because he looks like a cinnamon bun 🙂

  Oh he’s so cute, love his fur coloration! Reminds me a bit of a calico cat (I know nothing about coat patterns in buns!)

  A Japanese harlequin, just like my bun!! With Kuro his pattern is a bit lighter and he has a white belly. Your bunny is so cute!
