I just noticed that my Holland Lop, Anis, has a little yellow around the nose… Does it look like an infection? Wanting to make sure if I should take her to the vet.

        thanks!

Looks like an upper respiratory infection. My bun has this and about a week ago we took him to the vet and the medicine seems to be helping the runny nose. Wilburs discharge was clear though but I have read it can also be yellow or white. Is this the first time you’ve noticed a runny nose or did the discharge used to be clear?

Yesterday was the first time I noticed that she has a little bit of discharge under her nose- and a I freaked out a little!

Haha yeah I get it! I say wait a few days and see if anything changes, then call the vet. Watch out for sneezing, loud breathing, and other stuff along those lines. This isn’t super urgent, the main thing is just that you don’t want it to become pneumonia- if this IS actually an upper respiratory infection. Pneumonia is much harder and more expensive to treat.
