  hi everyone
  
  i have a bunny that’s been recently neutered..about almost 3 weeks now..
  
  he is also free roamed.
  
  suddenly he would randomly snort at me and i’m not too sure why..
  
  generally he’s doesn’t likes to be picked up but enjoys getting pets and face rubbed. he has never snorted before he got neutered.i did recently try and pick him up thought but he didn’t squirm or anything.. i made sure to let him down right after
  
  please help! he’s a super sweet bunny and i don’t want this to be a continuous problem 🙁

  A hormonal spike occurs after a neuter while the hormones work themselves out, so this is normal. Just continue doing behaviors to help him feel secure and trusting with you.
  
  Is he just snorting or is he aggressively attacking you? It would be slim at this point, but if he’s attacking when approached, outside of the hormonal spike, he might be in pain or discomfort due to something from the operation. Again, this is not likely since neutering is generally a routine and easy procedure for rabbit experienced vets, but just throwing that out there as well.
