Hi everyone! I am new to the forum! I have had my Hopper for 2 years now and I love to bring him outside for play time and to take photos for his little instagram page. We live in the country near a wooded area and have fleas and ticks in the summer (yuck!). I would spray the yard for them but then it would be slightly dangerous for him to munch on grass and such. I know that if your rabbit currently has fleas and ticks, you can give them Revolution or Advantage. Are those products safe to give on rabbits as a monthly preventative as you would for a dog or cat? Im just very scared to bring him outside but sometimes he needs a break from the stuffy house! If you have any experience, please let me know. Thanks!

Yes, Revolution and Advantage are safe to give regularly. You’ll have to keep an eye on it since rabbits do tend to metabolize it faster than a dog would.

Not saying you would do this, but I wanted to add this for anyone who might be reading this thread. Never, ever use fipronil (e.g. Frontline, Easyspot, etc.) on a rabbit. It is highly toxic to them. We have seen so many horror stories on the forum, so we try our best to spread the word. That concludes this public service announcement.
