Hello everyone. I’m new to bunnies and have been reading a lot the past few weeks. I came across this beauty at an animal rescue web site and am wondering if anyone can offer some information on what breed this may be. I’d like to know so I can get an indication of the temperament. I’d imagine bunnies are like other creatures in that the “normal” breed characteristics are just an indication and not 100%.

She is about 5 pounds and fully grown.

        Thanks or your help

Hmm, she doesn’t have any distinct characteristics that point to specific breeds. My guess is that she is a mix. Perhaps a false dwarf given her size and shorter (but not dwarf) ear length.

There are some stereotypes associated with certain breeds, but most people will tell you that their bunny doesn’t fit the stereotype. If she is at a rescue, I’m sure the people who work there can give you some indication of her personality.

She might be a mix of an English spot.  That’s great  you will be getting her from a rescue because they will definitely be able to tell you more about her personality.

She is beautiful! It will be interesting when you find out more about her.   Let us know!
