  I am a new member here but I think I need some advice ASAP. So my male bunny, Yoda started acting weird since yesterday I think. He regularly shakes his head for no reason. Like, he jumped off my bed and run toward his favourite spot by the window, as normal. But he he shaked his head I think twice. I had a problem with his water dish recently (he is now free roaming in my room all day but he used to be in a cage at night so his water was there but once he stopped using his cage for sleeping I removed everything even the carpet and I left only the water dish. Anyways I think he was afraid to jump in cause the carpet was missing) so he was a bit dehydrated this morning idk if that’s the reason.
  
  So I searched on the Web about what could cause this random head shaking and it said that it’s mostly because of mites in the ears or ear wax. But I checked his ears and they seem perfectly fine. ..idk what’s wrong ,he eats and poops as normal.
  
  He had an emergency neutering surgery about 2 months ago cause he had lots of traumas in his body and orchids after we took him from a terrible pet shop. But for a few weeks now he seems full recovered.
  
  So please if anyone has any advice, I know I should go to the vet clinic but now with quarantine they accept only emergencies and I can’t be sure if that’s serious.

  Describe how he is shaking his head. Is he leaning to one side, shaking, pawing at his ears, scratching? If you touch his ear, does he act like it bothers him? Those would be signs of something inside his ear causing irritation. You are correct, possible causes include ear wax or ear mites. Sometimes problems in the ear are not obvious when trying to look down in there.

  He is kinda leaning towards one side but mostly shaking his head up and down. No he does not react like in pain when I touch his ears. Do you think it’s an emergency cause he normally eating drinking and pooping. Could it be something neurological? ??

  A neurological issue is possible, but less likely. From your description, I would be worried about something like an ear infection. If your bunny has ear mites or an ear infection, then yes, it will need to be treated. If they are eating, pooping, and otherwise acting normally then I would say it isn’t an absolute emergency. I would try to get to the vet as soon as you can though. You bunny will probably be fine if treatment is delayed for a short time. But without knowing what it is exactly, you don’t want to risk something festering and becoming more difficult to treat if it is allowed to go on for too long.

  The head shaking has started to happen less and less often, I am not sure if that’s better or worse. Anyways I will keep an eye on him and hope for the best, thanks again for your assumption☺
