Help please, for a bald bum (not mine!) – I noticed yesterday a big bald patch on my cat’s bum, from around the ‘bullseye’ to down each inner thigh…. any clues?
There are no scratches, no scabs, no signs of any ‘trauma’, just bald, soft, smooth skin…. and no fur…for about 2x 3 inches!!! It seems enormous for her size.
(Which I’m convinced was NOT there last time, I looked…. (not often to be fair!!) )
I had noticed her sitting in different places over the last couple of days (you know our furbabies have their routines) which now I’m not surprised at if her bum is bare… 
and I wondered.. COULD THIS BE RELATED to her probable stint in the BARBECUE ASH ?
I’m not paniced – but I don’t like things I can’t explain… why would a cat’s fur fall off (right to the skin, with no trauma to the skin!) in a ‘big’ patch.
Here is a photo of her bum – any ideas please ? (I can’t do the link thing….there’s nothing offensive, we’ve all got a bum !! lol)
