I got Fiona (Fifi) 6 weeks ago, she was born on the 14 December 2018 (so she’s about 3.5 months now). She’s always had very thin hair on the back of her neck (I can see the skin) since I got her, and now that her ears have loped (she’s a mini lop) I can also see very think hair (almost bold really) on top of her head where the ears start. The hair on top of the ear on one side is thinner than the other side but it could be because one of her ears took a few more weeks to lop (so she had one ear up and the other one down for about a month). So the thin hair / bold skin is not fully symmetrical.
Also she’s lilac otter, so it’s normal that the colour of her fur is lighter on the back of her neck I think, but it wouldn’t explain the thin hair.
Otherwise she’s behaving normal, eating and drinking (a lot!) pooing and peeing (a lot!).
Is this normal for baby bunnies her age and will it ever grow? Or could it be mites? I’ve attached a few pictures, please share opinions! Thanks!!
