        Hey guys,

Does any one have a recommendation of a hay feeder they really like.  Indie has one that came with her cage that hangs on the outside.  It is dropping hay everywhere, it makes me nuts.  I like the idea of it being mounted outside the cage, but def need a better design

Because of how they eat hay, generally any hay feeder is going to drop out a lot of hay. If you want to save money and your rabbit isn’t a fabric chewer, you can make one out of a portion of an old pant leg! That’s how I made Wick’s fabric feeders. http://www.instagram.com/p/BomTp_ulu-e/

If you put a litter tray under it, it can catch a lot of that hay!

Could you just put the hay in the litter tray like a lot of other people do?

I personally like the IKEA plastic shopping bag storage thingy. When we had a home, I had it zip tied to a crate so it was to the side but above Chewie’s litterbox and it worked nicely – and like Wick said, the box caught the hay droppings.

Now we’re back to hay IN the litterbox (but on top of a plastic screen to limit waste).
