        Hey (hay) guys
I have been buying my buns 1kg bags of hay that range from £5-9 a go, this isn’t a huge amount but I’m wondering is there better deals available.
I have tried cheaper pet shop hay, but its too soft to wear their teeth down adequately, and my pair wont eat it .
The 1kg bags are bad for the environment, only last about 5 days (max), and I imagine more expensive than just buying in bulk.

They are spoiled(I admit) and get bored of their hay quickly, and as 2 are dental bunnies and 2 are stasis bunnies I have found that mixing it up has really helped keep their fibre intake high, and has lessened the occurrence of gut problems.
They get a variety of hays including: oat, barn dried grass, long stem timothy, timothy and dandelion, timothy with carrot, etc. to keep their food amusing to them.

The brands I use currently are shop bought: Burgess Excel feeding hays, Readigrass and Woodlands Green.

        Main Question :

Is there any UK companies out there that stock high quality, fibrous, larger quantity (but not huge horse sized quantities), but also offer a variety of types , while not being hugely overpriced? (bonus points if the hay is packaged in recyclable material)

          Hay, friend!

You are on the search for the holy grail. Much like I am here in Canada. May the Schwartz be with you!

http://www.timothyhay.co.uk sells 9kg (and 18kg) sacks of both timothy (2 types – 1st cut and 2nd cut) and oat hay. The timothy is £22 for 9kg or £40 for 18kg. The oat is £22 for 7kg I think. And free shipping!

Yessss, I love timothyhay.co.uk. It changed my life haha. Maybe a tad dramatic. But its good quality, cheaper than small bags, and if you buy 18kg (it comes in two bags) it lasts my 3 over two months. My buns love the stalky timothy.

Oh brilliant I’ll put an order in with them later!

                Has anyone tried https://haybox.club?

They also do a meadow hay so I would be able to keep up the mix and match diets, and also incase they turn their nose up at what they are offered from the first place .. Lol

Bunnies can be such gourmands… pfff! Chewie picks out any stalks and drops them over the edge of his box for me to take away. LOL
