Okay so when blue got sparyed we had to keep her in a small cage so she wouldn’t go binky everywhere. I had a bowl of water in the cage with her because that is how is likes her water. Well she was mad that we wouldnt let her out and she spilled her water everywhere and I didnt know she did this until after like a day or soo I thought she was just drinking it all. Lol

So long story short… the carpet is starting to smell bad because I didnt know that she was kicking all of the water out! What is the best and safe way to clean my carpet to get the awful smell out and keep my blue blue safe! ?‍♀️??‍♀️

        Thank you
        Blue? and Jessica?‍♀️

Water and vinegar would be my bet.

I’d also use water and vinegar as it’s generally the most recommended cleaning solution that is safe for bunnies.

That being said, I’m not sure how effective that is since it’s still a water based solution. Most people use baking soda after spraying the vinegar + water solution to soak up the extra moisture, but baking soda doesn’t seem to be safe for bunnies. If it were me, I’d probably spray the area first to get rid of the smell, then sprinkle on some baking soda. But I’d temporary relocate Blue to another room for a couple of days while making sure the carpet is clean and safe again for her to come back in.
