So, i have never had a long haired bun thats gone through a very heavy molt before. (previous other 2 buns were fairly short furred). Bonton is an american fuzzy lop thats been slowly shedding his undercoat for about 6 weeks now. Its getting very close to his butt, so hopefully he will be done soon. He gets groomed every night(as much as he will tolerate) to help avoid him ingesting too much fur. He still ingests some, but the string of pearls have been spaced well so i assume its moving through ok. We will get the occasional fur poop or where 2 are closer together and the rest are fine. During this time he will have stretches days at a time where hes more cage aggressive, and generally grumpy and avoids us. Is this a fairly normal occurrence? Ive also noticed that his poop size will vary as well during this time, but the volume is generally the same, maybe a bit less. Hes eating hay, drinking water, and pleased for his dinner chow and begging for food.
