Hi!

3 days ago I got a new baby bunny. The vet that did the check-up at the shop estimated the age to be 2 months old. She was unsure whether it was a male or a female but guessed female.

She is a lovely little floof. When we leave her out of her cage she runs around and binkies. She eats well, and the poops are well formed. The tummy is soft, and she seems quite loving towards us.

But when she is in the cage she is mostly inactive. She sits around and if she is not eating she seems in kind of a daze. Sometimes she clicks/grinds her teeth (it is the same sound she makes when we pet her, but she does it while alone in her cage). When we enter the room her cage is in she doesn’t get up, or acknowledge us in any way.

The first days I thought she slept a lot because it was a new environment to her and she was just exhausted, but the teeth clicking got me worried. Is there anything I should / could be checking to make sure she is ok?

There are not any rabbit savvy vets that I know of in my area and I don’t really want to stress her with the trip or pay a lot of money if the vet won’t even know what to look for.
