Hey guys! Lola’s spay is coming up on Saturday, and I’m just a huge ball of nerves. What should I expect? I’m probably gonna cry when I drop her off. I cry just thinking about it lol. Shes my baby, and I know it’s a big surgery. Any tips or tricks?

I remember i sent my girl in to get neutered, she went with her mate who was getting his tooth extracted.
They mixed them up and tried to perform a female neuter on him, realised, closed him up did his teeth and then did her.
          Her surgery went flawlessly.
I dont even remember having an issue with her, she got home, lay down, ate her dandelions and napped. My boy was a mess and thank god she was such a dream that i didnt need to worry at all… She was borderline neglected after it and she was perfect.
I would say make sure she eats before (wet greens is my go to to ensure food and water has been taken on)
For after try have a hot water bottle in case shes is struggling to regulate temperature, and also rabbits seem to much prefer fresh food after anesthetic – fresh grass, dandelions etc
Also its advised to leave out a bowl of water, even if they normally use a bottle for after
