Well, my bunny might have broken my country record, she has reached almost 10 years. In the last few days she very suffered and sadly, passed away. Me and my mom thought it would be great making an album of all the pictures of her we’ve got. What else can I do to pass away the pain? If this question hurts anyone, I don’t mind if the mods will delete it, it’s alright.

I’m so sorry for your loss ? I’m sure we all know how you feel. My personal approach for dealing with the passing of a furry is to remember them. Talk about the funny times, however it may bring tears right now but you’ll find you actually start smiling when you think of them. I also light a candle each night in remembrance of my past furries.

I think a photo album/scrapbook is a great momento too.

          ???

Thank you a lot. As doctor Seuss said: “don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened”.
The hardest thing is that we did euthanasia. She was suffering a lot, and actually tried to kill herself and had a lot of pain. She couldn’t move at all, now when I remember her last days, she suffered a lot. In some point I’m happy that her pain is over, but sad because I miss her. I’m used to take her with me when it’s raining outside and feed her so much, but now everything has changed.
            Thank you, I appreciate it.

PrincessArwen gave good advice. Making an album of all the beautiful times you had with bunny sounds like a great idea. Remember her and enjoy your memories, don’t let them make you sad. She was lucky to have you.

              RIP Bunny Binky Free!

RabbitBunnyLover, I’m very sorry you lost your bun. It’s lovely that she got to be so old. It’s still so very hard to lose a beloved pet.

I’ve made little photo albums of my lost rabbits. It is a nice way to celebrate them. You can make a Rainbow Bridge post for her here https://binkybunny.com/FORUM/tabid/54/aff/16/Default.aspx. Maybe with a link to an online photo album so everybody can see her loveliness and send good thoughts your way.

I know some people here have made paintings of their buns, or embroderies. One member crafted a memorial bracelet.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong in posting in this section about ways to commemorate your bun. The thread title clearly declares that this is about a bun that has passed away, so if that topic makes people sad, they can avoid opening your thread.

I’m very sorry about the loss of your bunny. In addition to the idea you had about the photo album and the others ideas suggested here, you could make a donation in her memory to a rabbit rescue or animal rescue that you know of. That way, she would be helping others. If you live in a house, with a yard, you could plant a tree or some flowers in her memory too.

I’m sorry for your loss. It sounds like your bun had a wonderful long life. A photo album sounds like a lovely idea.

I like to donate to a rabbit rescue on the day that my bun died, with a little note saying it’s in his memory. I also have a small painting, which I have hung up in a lovely frame by my door so I see it every day

I’m so sorry to hear this I can’t even imagine the pain!

It would be really nice to have some artwork done of your bun to place somewhere you can always see it. The other thing that may bring you some comfort is you can get cushion cases printed with a picture for your bed or sofa, which kind of acts as an extra photo to display but also something you can hug onto when you miss them. I’ve got a cushion printed of my bunnies and it’s one of my favourite items ?

                        Thinking of you ?
