Hi everyone! I’m a long time lurker but I need help! My Remy boy has become an odd duck. Last night at 2am( because if he can’t relax mom can’t sleep) he started chewing on the plastic tabs holding his cage together. I figured fine you need fresher hay and added more hay to his maybe 3 hour old hay. That seemed to mellow him out. Then started again at 4am so I gave him his toilet roll figuring his two straw chew toys aren’t good enough. He ignored it so I took the roll away.

I thought since I am up already let’s give him his lettuce breakfast early. Once I opened the lid of the cage to grab his food dish, he tried to jump out. He didn’t succeed and slipped. I made sure he was ok and then closed it while filling his dish. He’s never done that before either..

I gave him his early breakfast and he seemed like a happy bun. Once done though he started to thump his back paw. Which he’s never ever done. Is he ok? Should I call the vet or maybe find a bunny therapist? My rem has me worried.
