I read somewhere that pre-bondong before both bunnies is pretty much pointless as their scent will change after they are spayed/neutered. I was just wondering if that was true? I was hoping to start the pre-bonding process early so (hopefully) the bonding process can be a bit easier.

Unfortunately, yes that’s true. You can still have their cages next to each other, and you can still swap items for the next 1-2 months while they’re both recovering. But once they’ve been fixed their scents do change.
