Is there any way to stop my rabbit from digging in her litter box? She’s been digging in it so much lately, she digs the litter out of her box and gets her paws so dirty and soaked in pee!! She’ll even push the litter box to the middle of the room, it’s so loud and annoying it wakes me up every night. I’ve read that they do this when the litter box is first cleaned but she doesn’t seem to stop after 2-3 days. I’ve been using the same litter since she was a baby and the digging only got worse recently. It’s homestly making me so annoyed with her cause her feet get dirty and she walks around the house and it’s just nasty. i’ve tried pushing heavy stuff against it but she still finds a way to mess it up somehow. Any advice would be appreciated i feel like i’m losing my mind!!

Get a litter box with a grate or add one yourself.

You can even get a plastic mesh sheet from Joan’s that you use for making small rugs and lay that in the box, buns also like to dig in soft litter so that’s why I use pine pellets and put the mesh ontop and it keeps their feet clean as well

Check any craft store, they should have them!
