I feel awful. Moonpaw NEVER goes into the bathroom because he hates walking on the tile floor so I’ve never given much thought to the safety of the room. I just got hone and first thing I noticed was he hadn’t eaten his greens this morning, which never happens. I went in search of him and couldn’t find him for a while. Finally I found him hiding in the end of the hall, sopping wet, and he thumped at me and ran away, which he never does. I follow the trail of water to the bathroom and the enormous mess made it very clear that at some point he jumped into the toilet. It’s kind of funny since I know he’s fine, but I’m so glad he didn’t drown! So just be aware, if you are like me and never gave the toilet a second thought, make sure the lid is always down!!!!

Oh my goodness. That’s one of those funny sad situations. I especially like how he thumped at you because….well you know it’s always our fault. I am glad Moonpaw is ok!

Definitely a great reminder that you never know what a bun will decide to do any minute. I happen to have to keep my bathroom door closed when it’s bunny play time because they found its fun to chew on the plastic piping but if it wasn’t I definitely would have needed this warning!

            Yikes!!! So glad he’s okay!!!

They are full of surprised. My Elara wouldn’t go in my daughter’s room for almost a year because she was scared of the slippery kitchen floors she’d have to hop on to get there. Then, a few weeks ago, she just decided she was going for it and now it’s hard to keep her out of there. Now I have to make sure there are no books or toys on the floor she can nibble on. She really has a thing for crayons.

Moonpaw loves crayons too! I wonder why they find them appealing?

Poor bunny, glad he is ok. I always close the toilet lid, my reason is that I read years ago that when you flush, a light mist of water can travel 3 feet from the toilet and most likely with germs. my bun loves to run and slide on my kitchen floor, she also runs to the rug in front of the kitchen sink and jumps on it which causes it and her to slide a few feet. she’s a little nut.

My friend illustrated the event and it was so cute I had to share.

Okay, I can’t figure out how to upload a picture from my phone (as opposed to my laptop which I usually post from), so nevermind

I fixed the pic, you can upload from a phone but you then need to edit from a laptop to make it show.

                      Totally adorable drawing!

One night my Vilde jumped from the sofa right into one of my dog’s 2-liter waterbowls. He jumped right out of course, but I think your friend’s drawing illustrates his feelings about the whole thing pretty well =)

Hahaha oh dear Moonpaw! ? One of my fears is forgetting to put the toilet lid down. I’m glad he’s okay, if just a little embarrassed ?

Not even a whole day into March, and already my favourite story this month

What these little rascals get up to, and the rabbittude afterwards…

I fell into the toilet, how dare you??!!!

                              Glad Moonpaw is fine ^_^

Fun fact of the day: people seem to think that Dutch plateau toilets are gross, but at least they’re a lot more bunny-safe than the good ol’ sploosheroo style
