My bunny triscuit whimpers sometimes and scratches my couch when I am relaxing on it. I’ve taught her how to jump up using some pillows I’ll put on the floor so she can come and snuggle. It’s the cutest thing, she will get right under my chin onto my chest and just purr on me as I give her pets. Sometimes she nudges her way all around me and gets pretty excited with snuggles and my smell all over the couch. However, every time I allow this she pees! I have been following some suggestions and have been removing her immediately to the litter box and blocking her access to me for a bit. I read that they will keep doing this if her scent is still there, but I can’t get the smell out, I’ve scrubbed with soap and water, furniture stain remover, vinegar and sprayed down with febreze but it’s definitely still there. I’ve gotten to a point where I’m nervous to let her up so I don’t put the pillows down anymore but she still whimpers and circles around the couch every so often. She will also he growing and will eventually be able to jump up on her own. I decided to try putting another litter box on the couch with me so that if she has to go maybe she will understand to go there. She is free roaming and is typically choosing to lounge and hang out in the living room. My floor isn’t very comfortable and I don’t particularly want to lay down there for over 45 minutes to spend time with her but at the same time I feel like I am ignoring her when I’m on the couch. If we are both in the same room but shes on the floor and I’m on the couch is this ok? I guess same question for when I’m sleeping, she does the same thing but I won’t let her up so she tend to just sleep on a blanket next to my bed..its so adorable, like a puppy lol. Also, are there any suggestions for removing pee from furniture? It’s a cloth couch and it’s really nice, I’d hate for it to get ruined with this plague of bunny pee smells
