One of the main things that causes changes in litter habits are hormones. With that said it is not unusual for bunnies to pick soft spots like beds, couches and chairs (not sure what kind of chair you are talking about).

She’s likely marking territory. Rabbits will do that whether they’re fixed or not. It’s overall entirely normal for bunnies to leave a few stray poops outside their cage or pen.

I completely agree that it’s not unusual for stray poops to happen regardless if they are altered. It’s also not unusual for rabbits to like to pee on a bed or soft item even if they are litter box trained and fixed.

This sounded to me like it’s more than just a few stray poops type situation and I apologize if I interpreted this incorrectly. My understanding of your situation is that this is a new habit for your bunny since you said ‘all of a sudden’. Could you please clarify Little Girl?

The reason I asked you if she is spayed is because it’s also not unusual for a rabbit that isn’t fixed to start marking like crazy as their hormones kick in. They can go from being great with their litter box to going everywhere but the litter box. There are definitely other causes, like health issues or changes to their living situation that made them feel the need to claim their territory (examples: adding another bunny to the house or moving). I just wanted to rule out a possible hormone cause first.
