Sylvia is a 3 year old spayed female with a huge personality. i love her more than anything, but she has been getting on my nerves lately. she is free range with plenty of toys, but i can’t find any way to get her to stop destroying everything in the house. she has irreparably torn up countless sheets, a mattress, a couch, a loveseat, and multiple blankets. at nighttime when i’m sleeping and can’t supervise her, i put her in an x pen attached to a cage with toys, blankets, food, water, anything she may want or need, but every morning when i wake up, i find her out and about, digging holes in the couch. she gets a ton of attention, freedom from cage (minus the x pen at night that she escapes anyway), toys, etc. i really don’t want to have to put her solely in her cage at night, but i can’t afford all the damage she’s doing. ive looked online for any tips but none seem to help. if anyone has any insight, help would be greatly appreciated. side note: when she tears things up she eats them, not just destroys them. i’m worried about her health.
