Sylvia’s nipples seem to go through phases of feeling enlarged, and by enlarged i mean i can feel them through the fur. this happened once before when she wasn’t spayed, then they went back down. that may have been back in june/july. she got spayed around a month ago, but this morning i felt them again. i also found a tiny bit of pee dribble on the couch, which is fairly abnormal, for she is litter trained (except a few accidents occasionally). she has also been acting up, chewing up the couch and chair both the past couple of nights. she’s a spunky girl so it’s not too abnormal for her to chew up blankets and act wild despite being free range with plenty of toys to play with so i don’t think she’s bored. not sure if the behavior/potty accident is connected, i was just wondering if it may be hormonal even though she’s been spayed? she’s around 3 years old. she’s eating/drinking/binkying/running around like normal, but i can’t seem to find any insight on why her nipples are larger sometimes, especially if she’s spayed. i’m very worried it’s something serious, even though the last time it happened it went away in a short amount of time. i just didn’t think it would happen again since she’s been spayed. if anyone has any idea as to what’s going on with her body, it would be awesome to hear back.

It could be due to hormones. Hormone crazyness can last around a month for some bunnies. I’ve never heard of enlarged nipples as a side effect but it would certainly make sense if it is hormonal related.

I would wait a bit and see if the problems persist, and if they do, see what your vet says.
