Sorry I should have also said he isn’t neutered yet. He’s still young and probably right at the cusp of being able to get neutered, but I’m going back to America for about 2 weeks and want to do it after so I can monitor him rather than the sitter..

The veggies I started with romaine lettuce and sunny lettuce (the red-green lettuce, forgot what it’s called in English) and bok-choy. Yesterday as a little treat I gave him a leaf of kale with romaine and bok-choy. Sometimes I give a piece of basil or parsley, and today I gave him some spearmint just in case it was a digestive thing and I read in various books that mint (in small portions) can help with tummy issues.

I gave him a small strawberry a couple days ago and after he ate it he kind of seemed like he had gas, just laying on me when he usually runs around and around, so I gave him a tummy massage/gas relief massage just in case and he perked up and did his normal run-binky-jump in litter-eat hay- drink-run-eat hay, etc. Dunno if it actually was gas or if he was just relaxed and decided he has enough lol. He loves tummy massages even without gas, so…

Maybe it’s a hormonal thing/marking. He doesn’t poop outside his litter box much (for marking), just a rando-puff here are there while running around, and most of the stink is always in one of the litter boxes (he has two, one in his cage and one out of his cage).

BUT there’s a slight chance he’s a girl. Vet said he looks like a boy, but the groomer said he might be a girl, sooooo… I don’t know if that matters or if both do the same type of marking…

I’ll of course mention this at his next check up.
