        hello i need some help
        my rabbit is alone house rabbit who doesn’t have any contact with any kind of animals recently he spend two days in my cosins garden ( twelve days ago ) and just two days ago he started acting weirdly he excessively rubbing his head especially his ears and shake his head hardly like three to five time in 3 hours or less ( especially after a long petting ) and he kind of attacking our legs thing he never did before (he even bit my foot !!) i suspected he have a lice or other insects so i examined all his fur and find nothing no redness no swelling no scalp nothing . i am bretty much confused and dont know what to do any advice ??
        p.s/ there isn’t any good rabbit specialist vet in my country as a whole so please another advice

          Even if you dont have a rabbit savvy vet, you can still get treatment for mites, or have a vet examine for other little creepy crawlies, as it definitely sounds like your bunny has picked something up and its causing him a lot of irritation. Mites can be very hard to see, and even after examination may not show up-bit preventative treatments are still recommended in situations like this.
          Some places do over the counter treatments for mites and other parasites that are bunny safe, which might be worth looking into.
          Please dont leave it untreated as they can make rabbits very ill in a relatively short time

            thank for advice but since it only started two days ago should i further monitor the situation or get an appointment immediately ??

              It’s not like an emergency, but in the next few weeks. My boys had mites a year ago and we couldn’t get them in for about 2-3 weeks after we noticed symptoms. It was a littlle uncomfortable for them, but they survived. In the meantime, brush him. Brushing will help relieve any itching he has and he’ll enjoy a good bit.
