My little boy has been shedding soooo much for months!! And by months I mean probably 6 or more. 2 year old mini Rex. I know they go through times of shedding, but I feel like this is excessive!! He’s very happy and healthy. Apartment stays around 70-75 degrees. I’m constantly pulling out gobs of hair!! Is this normal??

My rabbits are perpetually shedding. And even if one stops, the other one will start. Its a nightmare.
I believe feeding sunflower seeds can help them start a moult and that should create a single shed and stop it from being continuous – but sunflower seeds are very fattening.
As long as your bunny has been checked /treated for mites you can just join the rest of us in the very hairy world of bunny ownership

Oh gosh. At times, I think there’s enough fur in my home to make a blanket. As long as bunny is happy, healthy, eating, drinking, peeing, pooping… Welcome to bunny life.
