Hey guys I am kind of worried about my rabbit caramel she is 13 weeks as is soon to be spayed. She started having like a bogey like substance on her nose a few days ago. I kept my eye on it but I thought she would get rid of whilst grooming. Since she was eating sleeping and playing fine I decided against taking her to the vet. This morning I decided to get rid of the bogey and abit of her fur cane put. It looks pink and now I am worried if I made it worse. I am planning to see whether the crust like substance returns on her nose and if it does I’m planning to take her to the vets. She still seems to be her playful self and is running around exploring and eating Timothy hay. I have spoilt her today with some treats because I’m worried she might be sick . I have included a picture of her nose after removing the bogey. My partner told me it might have happened because I wash her kale and it might have been stuck to her nose or the water would have built bacteria idk I’m just really worried right now.

          Hi Bibi
It doesn’t appear there is a photo attached to the post.
          A pic would really help!

Does Caramel have any wetness at her nostrils? Any sneezing?

If not coming from her nose, it’s possible it’s some sort of skin parasite, bacterial or fungal infection.
A wellness check up before her spay day would be a good idea.

Check the insides of her front paws. If they too are wet, she probably has snuffles (rabbit cold). Rabbits are masters at hiding their ailments, so while behavior can give clues as to if a bunny is sick, don’t assume that “healthy” behavior means a rabbit isn’t sick.

I took it to the vet it turned out to be a possible infection where antibiotics were prescribed but they’re not sure and told me to come in a week since she’s eating and behaving okay
