So my holland lop just turned 2 years old and she weight 5.4 lbs. I just realized that holland lops are suppose to weigh up to no more than 4 lbs. I have a pedigree sheet of her proving that she is a holland lop but she doesn’t look overweight. She is a larger rabbit and I don’t give her much snacks or anything. Her relatives are 4lbs or less. Is my bun overweight?

If she doesn’t appear overweight, then she is probably a false dwarf.

Thank you! I had no idea there was even such a thing.

Yep, all dwarf breeds produce false dwarfs. So you can have a Holland lop that does not have a copy of the dwarfism gene.
