Hi guys,
Joined today although I have been reading posts on here for years. Thank you for all the advice I’ve read over the last 2 years.
My 2 rabbits seem to be friendlier at my parents than at my house. I go down twice a year with them for around a week each time and they are always friendlier when they are there. When they are there they are caged indoors over night and allowed out in the living room during the day as long as someone is in. Nala will come up to you at least on once an hour if you sit on the floor or jump up on a seat if your also sitting on one, she’ll run along the top of the sofa to, bunny will let you stroke him if you go to him and he’s sat down.
At my house they are free roam in the living room and when I’m in they have the whole house. But they seem to keep their distance, nala is pretty friendly and if I go to her she’ll sit and wait to be stroked, bunny just runs and hides and neither of them come to me or will jump on to the sofa when I’m on it.
Any ideas on why they are different? Are they less happy being out all the time?
Thanks in advance for any help!
