So, more of a curiosity thing, but my bun will lick everything around him whenever I stroke or rub his tummy, lower butt and his tail!

Does anyone else’s bun do this? Or know why mine does? It’s adorable and is great for calming his down because one touch and boom he’s licking the floor

None of mine do that. But Panda, whenever i pet her from ears to butt, will just lay down immediately. It helps with bonding

My Holland Lop will start licking her sides and my hand if I scratch her back, she lets me know when she wants a head or cheek rub. when I lay on the floor and rub her head she will lick my nose and then she falls asleep, head and cheek rubs put her to sleep in about 2 minutes.

My bunny adores her nose and ears being stroked. She will reward me with kisses if I do it long enough.

My boys love being pet on their foreheads. Both will start to obsessively groom themselves if I brush around their butts.

I think your bun does that as a reaction to your petting. Because he’s being “groomed,” he reciprocates by grooming back. But since there’s no other rabbit/animal around to groom, he just ends up licking the floor. I’ll bet that if you put your other hand in a fist on the floor, he’ll probably start giving you kisses.

To answer the main question, my Choco liked being pet on the forehead a ton and also on the ears, and would always beg for pets when I would come around.

Ah all of your buns sound so sweet!
I’m going to try get in the way so I can be groomed too.

Onix is so lovely but he just demands pets so much, he will knock my phone away with his nose and just wait there for me to give him attention, it’s so funny!
