My bunny Nala met a male rabbit on boxing day, and are being kept in seperate hutches until they are both spayed/neutered and have bonded with eachother. I was cleaning out their hutches, and when I opened the door to Nala’s hutch there were mounds of hay. She tried to get out as normal, but got out alot quicker than i thought she would which was unusual as she is a very shy and timid rabbit. She ran straight behind Earl’s hutch and came out the other side where i was surprised to see them grooming and sniffing eachother. Eventuallly, she went back into her hutch and i lifted up the roof, but when i did she jumped up and tried to escape from it (which is pretty high, over a metre tall). I was pretty scared as i didnt want her to fall out onto the floor but luckily she couldnt get over and jumped back into her hutch. After, she started collecting hay in her mouth and bringing it through to her bed, i thought she might’ve just been cold so i put in alot of extra bedding, until i did a bit of research and found out she was probably nesting? She hasnt been tearing out her fur yet and isnt spayed. Her and Earl havent met in person too much so i dont think she’s pregnant. Can someone help?
