  After over 15 years of having bunnies, I had to admit defeat and bring Elara to the vet for a nail trim…..Here she is plotting my death earlier this evening..
  
  Decided to do a check-up while we were there since it’s been almost a year and was happy to hear her teeth look great and she’s a healthy 9lbs.

  Bindi had me so spoiled. He was such a doll to do anything with. Sterling and Olivia were difficult but I got it done.

  Lol…..I’m gonna keep trying when they need trimming, but I think this will be long term. Why do they have to be so difficult? You’d think at some point they’d realize we are not trying to chop their toes off!!!

  I’m still wondering how in the world this rabbit can literally have her dental signature on EVERY single thing she can reach in my home across the board but has no desire to bite the darn nails that are tap dancing across the kitchen floor that she so much like a true “ butt” won’t let me get any where near! She literally presses her butt down against my hand when she even thinks I’m just even slightly trying to sneak a look at those back paws… I’ve already priced out the cost of an Uber to get me to the vet for an appointment… next step is getting her accoustomed to getting into a carrier without freaking out… but I also first have to invest in one at the first of the month being that I had borrowed one and since then returned it so it’s way overdue… but I have a road map of my demise! I join the ranks of many great companions, dusted by their overlord bunnies!

  Agreed! My mini lop is the only one who will let me trim his nails without a fuss. The other two just go crazy if I even look like I am going to flip them over.
