can two bonded bunnies share one big litter box or should they still have separate ones?

Either way. Mine currently share 1 big one (it’s actually a concrete mixing tub from the hardware store), but I had a past pair that preferred side by side smaller ones.

Whatever works best. Some buns can get a bit territorial over litter boxes so two would be best but if they’re happy to share one, go with that if it’s easier for you.

I agree with the above – my boy would hop out as soon as my girl hopped in….even thought they both would have fit lol …  then he would sit outside of it and much on hay while she was inside of it munching on hay – which wouldn’t have been a big deal except he was then Pooping outside of it while he was eating hay lol

So mine have two side by side
They don’t seem to prefer a side and both use both sides lol
