Hello, I got a female bunny about a week and a half ago, she is only 10 weeks old. I also got another bunny today, it is a male and he is around the same age (10 weeks) I believe. I have read conflicting information online about bonding baby bunnies. Some say that it is very easy to bond baby rabbits because they are so young; whereas some say not to bond them because they are not neutered/spayed yet. I really do not know what to do in this situation because I do not want either bunny to get harmed due to fighting or to get impregnated as they mature.  Please let me know what you guys suggest.

          Hi Kaily

As both rabbits are still young but soon to enter “puberty”, it would be best not to attempt bonding. Any “bond” now will be challenged once the hormones arrive and you’d also have to separate due to risk of pregnancy.

It would be better to commence bonding after they are desexed, when a true, lasting bond can be formed.
          I hope that helps.
