Went to school and returned home to find my bun, Flips, had eaten two chocolate bars. I had left them in a tied up bag on my desk. They were milk chocolate and caramel. They weren’t all that large. But needless to say I’m still mortified. I’m less asking for help or tips and more asking for success stories or anything that can potentially help me stop freaking out…

That sounds like a lot. Please try and find an out-of-hours Vet. You may have to travel further then usual.

Were the bars solid chocolate? What weight were they?

I would say to administer activated charcoal and lots of hay and water, and then rush to a vet – ANY vet. But those are tips and help.

To be honest, two chocolate bars of any size that can be described as a “bar” is WAY too much for a bun’s kidneys. Not to mention all the sugar in the caramel.

Please. Try to get your little one to a vet asap.
