Hello, I have been having a lot of trouble getting my little guy in a set up that checks all my boxes. I recently purchased two dog metal panel exercise pen/crates and I am having trouble with them. They are really flimsy and my bun is moving them around all over the place. I want them to sit still and well connected in a square. Does anyone have any tips on how to best connect metal panels together to make it sturdy? I tried zip ties and that didn’t work. I am getting so frustrated as this is the second exercise pen I have bought. The first on was plastic panels and my bun jumped over them and then when I flipped them to make it too tall for him to jump over he chewed through them, hence the metal. The space I have for him now is 6ft x 8ft and I really want to keep it that size but just make those panels stronger connected.

If you can get like, a wood rod or metal rod.. even a sturdy pencil, and zip tie those across where panels meet at the top and bottom, that may prevent bending.

So where you have zip ties, also attach a straight-object so it’s impossible for the panels to fold where the zip ties are attached them. It’s like putting a pencil cross an open book — it won’t close.
