Hi, everyone. I want to take Squirtle out with me to buy his materials to make him the most comfortable – but I’m afraid he’s going to get anxiety or may cause issues. I just feel bad leaving him alone, since his living space is pretty small (for the time being, in expanding it in the next couple of days). So far he’s had no issues traveling (the one time we took him) but I don’t want him to feel uncomfortable from all that I read.

Just keep him home. Being outside in a store environment is much different than being in a car. Bunnies can get anxious very easily and can die of heart attacks. You don’t know how he’ll react to the environment or if anything will happen while you’re out. A number of things could happen. Especially if he’s new to you, you’ll save yourself a lot of bonding trouble if you just leave him home. Having a small space for a few days isn’t the end of the world. It’s better than bringing him out and risking anything happening.
