Hello this is my first time posting. My rabbits name is Bella I have had her a little under a year she is about 2 years old. She has always been a shy bun but after 8 months at my apartment she blossomed. We unfortunately had to move, we moved about 3 weeks ago she was starting to adjust and then Thanksgiving came around my family of 9 people Cale into my tiny 2 bedroom 1 bath duplex. They rented tables so we could eat the oven was on for 2 days straight and Bella was not happy for the time being I put her in my room and am going to keep her there as that was my original plan. A family member bright a $*&!zu with them and the dog has been in the house. The bun is safe in my room but when I try to get her to come out to the front room or from under my bed for that matter she is terrifed. I have vaccumed and tried to get the smell of the dog out not sure what to do anymore as she will not come out when we are around she reverted right back to her old self, any help on how to get the dogs smell out and how to deal with this would be helpful thank you!

I think Bella will come out when she’s certain the coast is clear. The dog smell will fade, just do normal cleaning, for example with vinegar and water. I don’t think Bella will revert completely, but she might need a few weeks.

Just do your normal thing, speak to her and offer treats and spend time in the same room as she. You can even read aloud to her from a book or magazine, just so she hears your voice and feels safe.
