My rabbit is a house rabbit and loves it, especially because it’s safe and dry! However, we don’t currently have central heating and won’t have any for a few months until we get a boiler. We live in England and soon it will start to get very cold! When I am home, he is in the living room with me, with the fireplace and electric heaters on. However, during the day he only has free roam upstairs (which includes under my bed) but no heaters, as last time I tried, he kept finding and biting the wire (no matter how much I hid it!) I’m worried whether or not he is ok whilst I’m at work during the day?

You can give him really soft blankets to sleep on while you’re gone, also, a nice cat bed that is like a cave so he can curl up in it. They do have these outdoor cat heating pads here in the US and the wire is protected around a coiled metal so he wouldn’t be able to chew the wire and hurt himself so he can choose to lay on it when he’s cold.

This is what I used to have for my outdoor cats https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/thermo-chicken-heated-pad-black-125-in-x-185-in-40w?cm_vc=-10005

I would say he’s grand. Rabbits tolerate cold really well, as long as it’s not below freezing you don’t need to worry. As bunny house said you could just give him some blankets to curl up in.

Blankets are great especially tucked into boxes. You could also try a snugglesafe heat pad (no wires)
