Hi everyone, so Ollie got neutered last week and he is still acting exactly the same! Peeing and pooping outside of the box, he has peed on my bed again as well. Can anyone tell me from their experience if it took a while for your buns to change this behavior? I know it’s not guaranteed that it will change from a neuter but I was hoping so. Maybe it takes a while for the hormones to leave the system? Let me know how it was for your buns!

        Thanks guys

Give it some time. Males can go through a post-neuter craze for up to 1-2 months where their hormones are leveling out. So it could still take a little bit of time until you see progress.

Until then, keep hay either directly in the litter box or in a hay rack above the litter box. Most bunnies will poop while they eat, so it’s a safe bet to keep hay with your litter box. And just do the standard picking up poops and putting them in the box and wiping pee and putting the paper towel in the box.
