Brought my netherland home today and both of his eyes look kind of red/inflamed?? What could be the cause this?

Edit: he is eating, drinking, pooping, peeing, and binkying a little bit. He seems fine other than having red eyes

Bombur has red eyes like that. They’ve never bothered him, and our vet has never said anything.

If they’re watery I’d get him checked. Bombur’s are never watery, they’re just always pinkish red. There could be a number of reasons they’re watery. Plus he’s a new bun, so it’s always good to get them checked out within a few weeks to make sure they’re good

I’m not 100% sure if they’re watery. The fur around his eyes just seems a little matted. Maybe he is allergic to something or there is too much dust in his bedding or hay? He just has bedding for now. Hoping to get a litter box for him in the next few days.
